Challenge: 'Share Your Good'
Did you know that one in seven kids (could be one you know) in the United States goes home and they may not have enough to eat or know where their next meal will come from? Maybe they don’t have food at all. In my hometown's county (Monongalia County) in West Virginia, 22% of residents live at or below the poverty line. That is one in five. And, in low- and middle-income countries, like Sierra Leone, more than half of people are living at or below poverty level.
Will you take the #ShareYourGood challenge with me?
Happy New Year!
Learn more about Feed The Children. Awesome organization. Each dollar donated provides $7 of food and essentials to feed hungry children and fight childhood hunger. Please donate if you can.
Learn more about B-Gifted Foundation. Please donate if you can! I can connect you with its founder, Andrew Greene, for more info. So happy they received their gifts for the new year.
Learn more about Scott's Run Settlement House in West Virginia. They do receive funding from United Way but it cannot be used for the Baby Pantry. So, if you donate online, note (maybe even call them and let them know) that your contribution is specifically for the Baby Pantry.
Please note: I was not paid to do this post, but this post is in collaboration with Feed The Children.
